In Friday's league battle, the visiting Aquinas Fightin' Irish soccer squad scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Towns County Indians.
The Fightin' Irish (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Lincoln County (Lincolnton, GA). The Red Devils come into the 1A D-II Region 3 battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Lincoln County was nudged by Georgia Military College (Milledgeville, GA), 2-0, in a league battle.
The Indians (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Lake Oconee Academy (Greensboro, GA). The Titans come into the 1A D-II Region 3 battle with a 1-3 record.
