Texas High School Baseball - Barbe defeats Kelly Catholic

The Barbe Buccaneers baseball team scored 8 runs and held the host Kelly Catholic Bulldogs to 2 in the Buccaneers non-league win on Saturday.
The Buccaneers now own a 14-4 record. They take the field next when they host Carencro for a 5A District 3 test on Tuesday, March 11. Barbe will play a Bears team coming off a 9-3 non-league loss to Rayne (Rayne, LA). The Bears record now stands at 4-11.
With the defeat, Kelly Catholic drops to 11-6 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Legacy Prep Christian Academy (Magnolia, TX) to play the Lions in a TAPPS Division II District 5 test on Tuesday, March 11. The Lions go into the test with a record of 2-1. Legacy Prep Christian Academy lost 7-1 in their recent non-league test against St. John XXIII (Katy, TX)
