In Saturday's non-league match, the host Jeannette Jayhawks basketball team scored a decisive 58-32 triumph over the Iroquois Braves.
In their next game, the Jayhawks meet the Greensburg Central Catholic Centurions (Greensburg, PA) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, March 13. Jeannette will attempt to move on its 19-9 season record. The Centurions enter the match with a 26-4 record after their 57-42 non-league win over Windber (Windber, PA).
With the defeat, Iroquois moves to 14-13 on the year.
