North Carolina High School Baseball - McDowell wallops Mitchell

In Monday's non-league game, the host McDowell Titans baseball team scored a nice 15-0 victory over the Mitchell Mountaineers.

The Titans (4-0) will now prepare for their game against South Caldwell (Hudson, NC). The Spartans enter the non-league game with a 5-0 record. In their last game, South Caldwell defeated North Gaston (Dallas, NC), 9-2, in a non-league game.

Next, the Mountaineers face the Polk County Wolverines (Columbus, NC) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 17. Mitchell will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record.
