The Davidson Day Patriots baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Forsyth Home Educators Hawks to 6 in the Patriots non-league victory on Friday.
The Patriots (2-5) will now prepare for their match against Hickory Christian Academy (Hickory, NC). The Knights go into the Foothills Athletic match with a 5-4 record. In their last match, Hickory Christian Academy edged Walnut Grove Christian (Fort Mill, SC), 1-0, in a non-league match.
The Hawks (11-4) will now prepare for their match against Sheets Memorial Christian (Lexington, NC). The Eagles go into the non-league match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Sheets Memorial Christian was edged by Salem Baptist Christian (Winston-Salem, NC), 6-0, in a non-league match.
