The East Newton Patriots baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Seneca Indians to 4 in the Patriots non-league victory on Saturday.

The Patriots (2-4) will now prepare for their match against Southwest (Washburn, MO). The Trojans go into the Class 3 District 11 match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Southwest was edged by Cassville (Cassville, MO), 7-1, in a non-league match.

The Indians (6-3) will now prepare for their match against Grove (Grove, OK). The Ridgerunners go into the non-league match with a 9-3 record. In their last match, Grove edged Jay (Jay, OK), 5-2, in a non-league match.
