The Poly Parrots softball team scored 16 runs and held the host Chavez Eagles to 2 in the Parrots league win on Friday.

The Parrots now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Verdugo Hills for a battle on Wednesday, April 15. Poly will confront a Dons team coming off a 8-7 league loss to Arleta (Arleta, CA). The Dons record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Chavez moves to 2-4 on the season. The Eagles host San Fernando (San Fernando, CA) to confront the Tigers in a battle on Wednesday, April 15. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 1-4. San Fernando lost 12-2 in their recent non-league battle against Glendora (Glendora, CA)
