Williams Field Black Hawks (Gilbert, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting North Canyon Rattlers (Phoenix, AZ), 15-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Black Hawks now own a 12-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Verrado for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 13. Williams Field will battle a Vipers squad coming off a 18-1 non-league win over Washington (Phoenix, AZ). The Vipers record now stands at 10-9.

With the loss, North Canyon falls to 6-7 on the campaign. The Rattlers host Independence (Glendale, AZ) to battle the Patriots in a 5A Central challenge on Tuesday, April 12. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 1-11. Independence lost 13-6 in their recent league challenge against North Canyon (Phoenix, AZ)
