California High School Lacrosse - Cate held off by San Marcos

In Thursday's league contest, the San Marcos Royals (Santa Barbara, CA) lacrosse squad edged the visiting Cate Rams (Carpinteria, CA), by a count of 10-9.

Coming up next, the Royals confront the Nordhoff Rangers (Ojai, CA) in a Channel contest, on Tuesday, April 16. San Marcos will attempt to advance on its 12-2 season record. The Rangers come into the contest with a 0-7 record after their 15-10 league loss to Santa Barbara (Santa Barbara, CA).

The Rams now own a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host Sequoia for a non-league contest on Saturday, April 13. Cate will confront a Ravens squad coming off a 24-15 non-league loss to Menlo School (Atherton, CA). The Ravens record now stands at 6-5.
