The Bogue Chitto Bobcats (Bogue Chitto, MS) baseball trounced the visiting Amite County Trojans (Liberty, MS), 16-1 in Friday's league challenge.
The Bobcats now own a 11-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Enterprise for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 12. Bogue Chitto will clash with a Yellowjackets team coming off a 1-0 league win over Lumberton (Lumberton, MS). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 12-10.
With the defeat, Amite County drops to 0-17 on the year. The Trojans travel to South Pike (Magnolia, MS) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 15. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 5-8.
