Spectators at Tuesday's league battle between the Albany Lions (Albany, TX) and the visiting Stamford Bulldogs (Stamford, TX), saw Albany's baseball squad knock off Stamford by a count of 8-2.
Coming up next, the Lions play the Haskell Indians (Haskell, TX) in a 2A Region I District 8 match, on Friday, April 15. Albany will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record.
