The Franklin County Lions baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Stephens County Indians to 2 in the Lions league victory on Friday.
The Lions (23-5) will now prepare for their match against Tallulah Falls (Tallulah Falls, GA). The Indians go into the non-league match with a 17-6 record. In their last match, Tallulah Falls gained a win over Rabun County (Tiger, GA), 14-3, in a league match.
The Indians (10-17) will now prepare for their match against Walhalla (Walhalla, SC). The Razorbacks go into the non-league match with a 9-10 record.
