New Mexico High School Baseball - Belen defeats Albuquerque Academy

The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Belen Eagles (Belen, NM) and the visiting Albuquerque Academy Chargers (Albuquerque, NM), saw Belen's baseball team gain a win over Albuquerque Academy by a tally of 9-4.
The Eagles (13-7) will now prepare for their battle against Valencia (Los Lunas, NM). The Jaguars enter the 4A District 5 battle with a 9-11 record. In their last battle, Valencia held off Highland (Albuquerque, NM), 9-2, in a league battle.
Next, the Chargers face the Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 15. Albuquerque Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 11-9 season record. The Hilltoppers enter the battle with a 11-4 record after their 15-2 league win over Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM).
