The Rockport Vikings baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Matignon Warriors to 3 in the Vikings non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Vikings (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Manchester Essex (Manchester, MA). The Hornets go into the CAL Baker match with a 3-0 record. In their last match, Manchester Essex gained a win over Marblehead (Marblehead, MA), 6-4, in a non-league match.
The Warriors (0-3) will now prepare for their match against Saint Joseph Prep (Brighton, MA). The Phoenix go into the Catholic Central - Small match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Saint Joseph Prep was overwhelmed by Newton South (Newton, MA), 13-12, in a non-league match.
