The Westfield Bombers baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the host Pittsfield Generals to 1 in the Bombers non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Bombers (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Longmeadow (Longmeadow, MA). The Lancers go into the Valley match with a 0-4 record. In their last match, Longmeadow was overwhelmed by Central (Springfield, MA), 6-4, in a non-league match.
The Generals (2-4) will now prepare for their match against Northampton (Northampton, MA). The Blue Devils go into the non-league match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Northampton was overwhelmed by East Longmeadow (East Longmeadow, MA), 9-0, in a non-league match.
