The Platt Panthers baseball team (Meriden, CT), was overwhelmed 12-7 in Thursday's non-league outing with the host Shepaug Valley Spartans (Washington, CT)
The Spartans now hold a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gilbert for a Berkshire outing on Friday, April 14. Shepaug Valley will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Wolcott RVT (Torrington, CT). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 0-4.
Next, the Panthers confront the Enfield Eagles (Enfield, CT) in a non-league outing, on Monday, April 17. Platt will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Eagles go into the outing with a 3-1 record after their 13-6 non-league loss to Manchester (Manchester, CT).
