Lake Stevens Vikings (Lake Stevens, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Marysville-Pilchuck Tomahawks (Marysville, WA), 10-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Glacier Peak for a 4A Wesco challenge on Monday, April 18. Lake Stevens will battle a Grizzlies squad coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Decatur (Federal Way, WA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 6-1.

With the loss, Marysville-Pilchuck falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Tomahawks travel to Everett (Everett, WA) to battle the Seagulls in a 2A/3A Wesco challenge on Monday, April 18. The Seagulls enter the challenge with a record of 7-0. Everett won 3-1 in their recent league challenge against Archbishop Murphy (Everett, WA)
