The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Taft School Big Red (Watertown, CT) and the visiting Westminster School Martlets (Simsbury, CT), saw Taft School's lacrosse team top Westminster School by a margin of 17-7.
The Big Red (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Brunswick School (Greenwich, CT). The Bruins enter the non-league challenge with a 6-0 record. In their last challenge, Brunswick School beat Seton Hall Prep (West Orange, NJ), 13-5, in a non-league challenge.
The Martlets (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Salisbury School (Salisbury, CT). The Crimson Knights enter the Western New England Division 1 challenge with a 7-1 record. In their last challenge, Salisbury School beat Avon Old Farms (Avon, CT), 10-9, in a league challenge.
