The Alhambra Bulldogs held off the host Benicia Panthers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs now have a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northgate for a non-league test on Saturday, April 15. Alhambra will confront a Broncos team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Campolindo (Moraga, CA). The Broncos record now stands at 11-3.
The Panthers (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Las Lomas (Walnut Creek, CA). The Knights enter the non-league test with a 2-8 record. In their last test, Las Lomas was nudged by Campolindo (Moraga, CA), 2-1, in a non-league test.
