The Providence Catholic Celtics softball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Montini Catholic Broncos to 2 in the Celtics league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Providence Catholic moves its record to 8-6 on the year. The Celtics host Stagg (Palos Hills, IL) to clash with the Chargers in a non-league game on Monday, April 17. The Chargers come into the game with a record of 1-5. Stagg lost 6-2 in their recent non-league game against Mother McAuley (Chicago, IL)

In their next game, the Broncos clash with the St. Laurence Vikings (Burbank, IL) in a GCAC- Red game, on Tuesday, April 18. Montini Catholic will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Vikings come into the game with a 8-2 record after their 13-1 league win over Fenwick (Oak Park, IL).
