The Russell Broncos baseball team scored 18 runs and limited the host Minneapolis Lions to 1 in the Broncos non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Broncos (4-5) will now prepare for their match against Ellis (Ellis, KS). The Railroaders go into the non-league match with a 1-7 record.
The Lions (2-5) will now prepare for their match against Sacred Heart (Salina, KS). The Knights go into the non-league match with a 12-0 record. In their last match, Sacred Heart ran past Ellsworth (Ellsworth, KS), 8-2, in a league match.
