The Granite City Warriors volleyball team (Granite City, IL), went down 2-0 in Monday's non-league challenge with the host Bunker Hill Minutemen (Bunker Hill, IL)

The Minutemen (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Father McGivney Catholic (Glen Carbon, IL). The Griffins come into the Gateway Metro challenge with a 8-7 record. In their last challenge, Father McGivney Catholic defeated Metro-East Lutheran (Edwardsville, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Warriors encounter the Marquette Catholic Explorers (Alton, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 18. Granite City will attempt to move on its 0-9 season record. The Explorers come into the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 2-0 league win over Maryville Christian (Maryville, IL).
