The East Rowan Mustangs baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting North Stanly Comets to 0 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Mustangs (20-1) will now prepare for their match against Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Vikings go into the South Piedmont 3A match with a 4-13 record. In their last match, Central Cabarrus was overwhelmed by Robinson (Concord, NC), 4-3, in a league match.

The Comets (19-3) will now prepare for their match against Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC). The Tigers go into the Yadkin Valley 1A/2A match with a 10-8 record. In their last match, Mount Pleasant was overwhelmed by Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC), 6-2, in a non-league match.
