The Northwestern Lehigh Tigers baseball team scored 13 runs and held the host Kutztown Cougars to 10 in the Tigers non-league win on Thursday.
The Tigers now hold a 12-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pen Argyl for a Colonial test on Monday, April 21. Northwestern Lehigh will play a Green Knights team coming off a 3-2 league win over Notre Dame-Green Pond (Easton, PA). The Green Knights record now stands at 5-5.
With the defeat, Kutztown drops to 6-4 on the year. The Cougars travel to Tulpehocken (Bernville, PA) to play the Trojans in a non-league test on Saturday, April 19. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 8-4. Tulpehocken won 10-8 in their recent non-league test against Berks Catholic (Reading, PA)
