Michigan High School Baseball - Franklin holds off Lakeland

In Friday's non-league game, the host Franklin Patriots baseball team scored a close 5-1 win over the Lakeland Eagles.
The Patriots (8-1) will now prepare for their game against Stevenson (Livonia, MI). The Spartans go into the Kensington Lakes - East game with a 8-7 record. In their last game, Stevenson was overwhelmed by Garden City (Garden City, MI), 8-4, in a non-league game.
Next, the Eagles play the Walled Lake Central Vikings (Walled Lake, MI) in a Lakes Valley contest, on Tuesday, April 21. Lakeland will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Vikings come into the contest with a 5-8 record after their 13-3 non-league win over Farmington (Farmington, MI).
