Charlotte Catholic Cougars (Charlotte, NC) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the host Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC), 12-9 in a non-league battle.

The Cougars now have a 15-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Myers Park for a Southwestern/So Meck match on Wednesday, April 19. Charlotte Catholic will play a Mustangs team coming off a 13-7 non-league win over Apex Friendship (Apex, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-6.

With the defeat, Hough drops to 14-2 on the season. The Huskies travel to R.J. Reynolds (Winston-Salem, NC) to play the Demons in a non-league match on Thursday, April 20. The Demons go into the match with a record of 14-2. R.J. Reynolds won 19-6 in their recent league match against West Forsyth (Clemmons, NC)
