The East Surry Cardinals crushed the visiting West Wilkes Blackhawks baseball team by a count of 7-0 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Cardinals now possess a 15-0 record. They take the field next when they host Davie for a non-league bout on Wednesday, April 20. East Surry will face a War Eagles team coming off a 17-0 league win over Parkland (Winston-Salem, NC). The War Eagles record now stands at 8-8.
Next, the Blackhawks face the East Surry Cardinals (Pilot Mountain, NC) in a Foothills 2A bout, on Friday, April 22. West Wilkes will attempt to move on its 10-9 season record. The Cardinals enter the bout with a 15-1 record after their 18-4 non-league loss to Davie (Mocksville, NC).
