Pioneer Panthers (Royal Center, IN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Triton Trojans (Bourbon, IN), 21-3 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lewis Cass for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 21. Pioneer will face a Kings squad coming off a 12-6 non-league win over Frontier (Chalmers, IN). The Kings record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Triton falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Trojans host Knox (Knox, IN) to face the Redskins in a Hoosier North challenge on Wednesday, April 20. The Redskins enter the challenge with a record of 2-3. Knox won 15-9 in their recent non-league challenge against Washington Township (Valparaiso, IN)
