The Greenbrier East Spartans baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the host Wheeling Central Catholic Maroon Knights to 5 in the Spartans non-league victory on Friday.
The Spartans (7-14) will now prepare for their match against Hurricane (Hurricane, WV). The Redskins go into the non-league match with a 11-5 record. In their last match, Hurricane tipped Blazer (Ashland, KY), 10-0, in a non-league match.
