Arkansas High School Baseball - Hoxie loses to Newport

In Tuesday's league game, the visiting Newport Greyhounds baseball team scored a nice 20-3 victory over the Hoxie Mustangs.
The Greyhounds (10-6) will now prepare for their game against Melbourne (Melbourne, AR). The Bearkatz go into the 3A Region 2 game with a 10-2 record. In their last game, Melbourne was overwhelmed by Walnut Ridge (Walnut Ridge, AR), 2-1, in a league game.
The Mustangs (0-7) will now prepare for their game against Mountain View (Mountain View, AR). The Yellowjackets go into the 3A Region 2 game with a 3-9 record. In their last game, Mountain View was overwhelmed by Cave City (Cave City, AR), 13-3, in a league game.
