Coppell Cowboys (Coppell, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Lewisville Farmers (Lewisville, TX), 19-7 in a league challenge.

The Cowboys now own a 12-11 record. They take the field next when they host Marcus for a 6A Region I District 6 challenge on Friday, April 5. Coppell will battle a Marauders squad coming off a 8-3 league win over Flower Mound (Flower Mound, TX). The Marauders record now stands at 16-9.

With the loss, Lewisville falls to 13-12 on the campaign. The Farmers travel to Plano West (Plano, TX) to battle the Wolves in a 6A Region I District 6 challenge on Friday, April 5. The Wolves enter the challenge with a record of 19-7. Plano West lost 6-5 in their recent league challenge against Plano (Plano, TX)
