In Wednesday's non-league game, the host St. Paul's Big Red baseball team scored a close 5-3 victory over the Groton School .
The Big Red (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Vermont Academy (Saxtons River, VT). The Wildcats enter the Lakes Region game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Vermont Academy held off Varsity Opponent (, ), 10-6, in a non-league game.
