The Dekaney Wildcats softball team scored 26 runs and held the visiting Benjamin Davis Panthers to 2 in the Wildcats league win on Thursday.

The Wildcats now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eisenhower for a 6A Region II District 14 battle on Tuesday, April 7. Dekaney will confront a Eagles team coming off a 16-0 league loss to Spring (Spring, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 13-10.

With the loss, Benjamin Davis moves to 1-15 on the season. The Panthers host Nimitz (Houston, TX) to confront the Cougars in a 6A Region II District 14 battle on Tuesday, April 7. The Cougars go into the challenge with a record of 6-11. Nimitz won 27-14 in their recent league challenge against Westfield (Houston, TX)
