The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Middletown Islanders (Middletown, RI) and the host Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI), saw Middletown's lacrosse team achieve victory over Mt. Hope by a margin of 10-5.
The Islanders (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Cranston West (Cranston, RI). The Falcons enter the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Cranston West edged Pilgrim (Warwick, RI), 15-3, in a league challenge.
The Huskies (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Cumberland (Cumberland, RI). The Clippers enter the Division 1 (State) challenge with a 1-3 record.
