North Carolina High School Softball - First Flight bounces Martin County

The crowd at Monday's league bout between the First Flight Nighthawks (Outer Banks, NC) and the host Martin County Gators (Williamston, NC), observed First Flight's softball team get by Martin County by a tally of 11-6.

The Nighthawks (6-5) will now prepare for their bout against Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC). The Bears go into the Northeastern Coastal 3A/4A/5A bout with a 4-8 record. In their last bout, Hertford County tipped Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC), 19-6, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Gators clash with the Northeastern Eagles (Elizabeth City, NC) in a Northeastern Coastal 3A/4A/5A bout, on Tuesday, April 21. Martin County will attempt to advance on its 10-5 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 0-10 record after their 19-6 league loss to Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC).
