The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Spartans (Burnt Hills, NY) and the visiting Averill Park Warriors (Averill Park, NY), saw Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake's lacrosse team top Averill Park by a margin of 21-2.

The Spartans (8-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Colonie Central (Albany, NY). The Raiders enter the non-league challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, Colonie Central was overwhelmed by Shenendehowa (Clifton Park, NY), 17-0, in a league challenge.

The Warriors (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Columbia (East Greenbush, NY). The Blue Devils enter the Section 2 Suburban - Gold challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Columbia was overwhelmed by Skaneateles (Skaneateles, NY), 13-5, in a non-league challenge.
