The Austin Packers nudged the host Kasson-Mantorville Komets baseball team by a tally of 7-6 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Packers now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northfield for a Big 9 bout on Tuesday, April 25.

Next, the Komets face the Cannon Falls Bombers (Cannon Falls, MN) in a Hiawatha Valley bout, on Monday, April 24. Kasson-Mantorville will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Bombers enter the bout with a 5-1 record after their 7-6 non-league win over Lourdes (Rochester, MN).
