Texas High School Baseball - East Central loses to New Braunfels

The New Braunfels Unicorns crushed the host East Central Hornets baseball team by a count of 8-1 in Friday's league bout.

The Unicorns now possess a 11-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Canyon for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 22. New Braunfels will face a Cougars team coming off a 11-0 league win over Seguin (Seguin, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 18-6.

Next, the Hornets face the Steele Knights (Cibolo, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 27 bout, on Monday, April 24. East Central will attempt to move on its 14-16 season record. The Knights enter the bout with a 11-9 record after their 7-2 league loss to San Marcos (San Marcos, TX).
