California High School Baseball - Homestead nudged by Fremont

The Homestead Mustangs baseball team (Cupertino, CA), was tipped 6-5 in Friday's non-league outing with the host Fremont Firebirds (Sunnyvale, CA)

The Firebirds now hold a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Milpitas for a El Camino outing on Tuesday, April 25. Fremont will confront a Trojans team coming off a 6-1 league loss to Saratoga (Saratoga, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 8-12.

Next, the Mustangs confront the Los Gatos Wildcats (Los Gatos, CA) in a De Anza outing, on Wednesday, April 26. Homestead will attempt to advance on its 8-12 season record. The Wildcats go into the outing with a 15-6 record after their 5-0 non-league win over Aptos (Aptos, CA).
