The Morley Stanwood Mohawks softball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Kent City Eagles to 3 in the Mohawks league win on Monday.

The Mohawks now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to White Cloud for a Central State Activities Association-Gold battle on Wednesday, April 23. Morley Stanwood will confront a Indians team coming off a 15-14 league loss to Chippewa Hills (Remus, MI). The Indians record now stands at 0-6.

With the loss, Kent City moves to 2-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to Central Montcalm (Stanton, MI) to confront the Hornets in a Central State Activities Association-Gold battle on Wednesday, April 23.
