The Thunder now own a 11-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Salida for a 3A/2A Tri-Peaks challenge on Saturday, April 26. Lamar will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 14-6 non-league win over Sand Creek (Colorado Springs, CO). The Spartans record now stands at 7-6.
With the defeat, Burlington drops to 5-8 on the year. The Cougars host Stratton (Stratton, CO) to clash with the Eagles in a 1A District 4 challenge on Thursday, April 24. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 4-9. Stratton lost 7-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Granada (Granada, CO)
