Illinois High School Softball - Benet Academy bounces Dunlap

The Benet Academy Redwings routed the host Dunlap Eagles softball squad by a final score of 8-2 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Redwings (9-2) will now prepare for their battle against Saint Viator (Arlington Heights, IL). The Lions go into the East Suburban Catholic battle with a 5-9 record.
The Eagles now possess a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Maroa-Forsyth for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 23. Dunlap will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 12-5.
