California High School Softball - Menlo-Atherton bounces Ygnacio Valley

April 23, 2022: Concord, CA 94518

Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Menlo-Atherton Bears (Atherton, CA) and the host Ygnacio Valley Wolves (Concord, CA), witnessed Menlo-Atherton's softball squad prevail over Ygnacio Valley by a count of 16-1.

The Bears now sport a 10-11 record. They play next when they host El Camino for a Peninsula - Ocean match on Monday, April 25. Menlo-Atherton will face a Colts squad coming off a 18-7 league loss to Terra Nova (Pacifica, CA). The Colts record now stands at 2-9.

With the loss, Ygnacio Valley moves to 4-7 on the season. The Wolves travel to Acalanes (Lafayette, CA) to face the Dons in a Diablo - Valley match on Tuesday, April 26. The Dons go into the match with a record of 5-9. Acalanes lost 9-8 in their recent non-league match against St. Patrick-St. Vincent (Vallejo, CA)
