New Mexico High School Softball - Taos bounces Pojoaque Valley

Taos Tigers (Taos, NM) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM), 6-2 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now sport a 8-12 record. They take the field next when they host Los Alamos for a 4A District 2 game on Wednesday, April 27. Taos will clash with a Hilltoppers team coming off a 17-13 league win over Moriarty (Moriarty, NM). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 18-7.

In their next game, the Elks/Elkettes clash with the Espanola Valley Sundevils (Espanola, NM) in a 4A District 2 game, on Friday, April 29. Pojoaque Valley will attempt to improve on its 9-15 season record.
