The D.C. Everest Evergreens baseball team scored 5 runs and held the host Wausau East Lumberjacks to 3 in the Evergreens league win on Thursday.
The Evergreens now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln for a Wisconsin Valley test on Tuesday, April 29. D.C. Everest will play a Red Raiders team coming off a 11-3 non-league loss to La Crosse Central (La Crosse, WI). The Red Raiders record now stands at 5-5.
With the defeat, Wausau East drops to 4-4 on the year. The Lumberjacks host Eau Claire North (Eau Claire, WI) to play the Huskies in a non-league test on Friday, April 25. The Huskies go into the test with a record of 2-5.
