In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Floyd County Buffaloes baseball team scored a tight 4-3 victory over the Carroll County Cavaliers.
The Buffaloes (6-6) will now prepare for their game against Pulaski County (Dublin, VA). The Cougars go into the non-league game with a 7-5 record. In their last game, Pulaski County was edged by Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA), 9-4, in a non-league game.
