In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Nitro Wildcats baseball team scored a tight 7-2 victory over the South Charleston Black Eagles.
The Wildcats (10-10) will now prepare for their game against Poca (Poca, WV). The The Dots go into the Cardinal game with a 0-11 record. In their last game, Poca was overwhelmed by Sissonville (Charleston, WV), 10-0, in a league game.
The Black Eagles (7-12) will now prepare for their game against Lincoln County (Hamlin, WV). The Panthers go into the non-league game with a 1-18 record. In their last game, Lincoln County was overwhelmed by Wayne (Wayne, WV), 7-3, in a non-league game.
