Starmount Rams (Boonville, NC) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Alleghany Trojans (Sparta, NC), 5-2 in a league challenge.

Next, the Rams confront the East Wilkes Cardinals (Ronda, NC) in a Northwest 1A challenge, on Tuesday, April 30. Starmount will attempt to move on its 9-4 season record. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 4-0 league win over Alleghany (Sparta, NC).

The Trojans now possess a 1-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mount Airy for a Northwest 1A challenge on Tuesday, April 30.
