Fans at Friday's league battle between the Kankakee Kays (Kankakee, IL) and the host Momence Momence Athletics (Momence, IL), saw Kankakee's soccer squad triumph over Momence by a count of 9-1.

The Kays (10-5) will now prepare for their battle against Streator/Woodland (Streator, IL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league battle with a 4-12 record. In their last battle, Streator/Woodland notched a victory over Manteno (Manteno, IL), 1-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Momence Athletics battle the Crete-Monee Warriors (Crete, IL) in a SICA battle, on Monday, April 28. Momence will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record. The Warriors enter the battle with a 3-12 record after their 9-0 league win over Rich Township (Olympia Fields, IL).
