Spectators at Tuesday's league battle between the Sanford Spartans (Sanford, ME) and the host Bonny Eagle Scots (Standish, ME), saw Sanford's baseball squad knock off Bonny Eagle by a count of 3-0.

Coming up next, the Spartans play the Thornton Academy Trojans (Saco, ME) in a Class A South battle, on Thursday, April 28. Sanford will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The Trojans enter the battle with a 6-0 record after their 10-0 league win over Massabesic (Waterboro, ME).

The Scots now possess a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marshwood for a Class A South battle on Thursday, April 28. Bonny Eagle will play a Hawks squad coming off a 0-0 league Kennebunk (Kennebunk, ME). The Hawks record now stands at 2-1.
